Stop Burnout Before it Begins, or get it Turned Around if you’re already on the Ground
Entrepreneurs typically have a plethora of things on their task list, along with a whole lot to prove to themselves and others; the resulting stress can quickly lead to burnout.
Old school thinking holds that working too many hours or enduring too much pressure causes burnout, but that is a massive over-simplification of the matter.
Burnout isn’t just a signal you need to take a break, it’s a physical and psychological response to consistent stressors, both personal and professional. It also may be a response to working your butt off for an endeavor you are not really passionate about.
Burnout often leads to feelings of failure and thoughts of giving up. There are, however, a number of things you can do to block burnout, or to help turn it around if you are already there.
