Wishing You a Peaceful Memorial Day
“What we do for ourselves dies with us; what we do for others and the world remains and is immortal….” -Albert Pine
Today many of us across the nation gather together for barbecues at parks, lakes, beaches and backyards. As we celebrate this three-day weekend, this holiday from work and school, many of us forget why it is that we have this day.
Today is a day to give thanks and honor our veterans; those who are still living and protecting us, those who have retired or returned home from their protective duty abroad, and those who have given their lives in the name of guardianship.
Today is also a day to give thanks and to honor those families and loved ones of our fallen veterans; those who have said goodbye to the ones they love in sacrifice for our great nation.
Thank you. Our gratitude knows no bounds, and words cannot suffice to express our love and appreciation.
